@theoy991@avidseries No, they’re not. Europe, one of the most liberal continents in the west, basically does not have an outdoor recreation economy. Liberals like to walk paved sidewalks and call it hiking.
@avidseries Exact opposite of my experience. There was not a single liberal parent who took their kids camping or fishing on neighborhood trips with us. As I type this I’m on a summer boating trip. Not a single liberal parent from my CO neighborhood wanted to make this trip. Not one.
@Molson_Hart I mean to be fair it is a good example of what a country can be if their leaders actually distributes aid in a meaningful way rather than towards terrorism efforts like in Palestine. But it should also be understood that Rwanda is one of the most Aided countries in the world
@JuanSanchez0x0 Europe is at extreme risk of conflict in our lifetime with basically zero military. More than likely the US will experience a second surge of Europeans.
@ramez@TheFuturist2045 Dude, you don’t need fucking central AC. Window units were cheap. Get it through your thick brain. You’re arguing for the sake of arguing. I lived on MKEs lakefront 15 years ago. It rarely got above 80, but it was always hot and muggy inside. Window unit worked great for sleep.
@ramez There was a time you could say something stupid with confidence and by the time anyone could fact check you it was too late and you could move on to the next lie.
Yes heat deaths in Europe are increasing. Yes, hear deaths in Europe 20 years ago were still extremely high.
@DarkWillow4Ever@jdfire21@GovtsTheProblem For example, my metro district taxes are 10,700 this year. Local county taxes are less than half of that. Local roads are funded on a different line item within the metro district which isn’t collected or paid for through the county property taxes.
@DarkWillow4Ever@jdfire21@GovtsTheProblem But it’s also harder to do an apples to apples comparison for Colorado. Largely due to the fact that CO metro districts and locals fund roads on a different line item. And the aforementioned landscape of fees. CO is a black hole of taxes and fees that aren’t accounted for.
@LimnalEcho@mountainwesttax Colorado forecasts are historically only 60% accurate within 2 days lol. Temperature is the easiest thing to predict and they still struggle to get that right in Colorado.
