@DowneyJD The Guardian gets things right sometimes. I agree with Atkinson; my car is 21 years old and petrol. I am hoping it will see me out. The future is hydrogen ,not electric but that is unlikely to be perfected in my lifetime.

He recently boasted about increasing the numbers of doctors in training BUT a) the numbers are much less than was promised and b) the government is not financing them! So the medical school places are going to rich overseas students!

@WorldSIOP Indeed we support the people of Ukraine 100% but we should also ask our colleagues in Russia to promote the truth about what their leader has done to Ukraine to counter the lies being told on Russian television. Those with access to truthful news outlets have an important duty.

@DowneyJD Hang onto that bike and look after it. My 3 series BMW (petrol)is now 20 years old and I intend to keep it going until I can no longer drive it and have no intention of going electric. Looking online my car is worth £145!
