As someone who regularly follows your weekly sermons via podcast I am appalled that you are not more nuanced with your perspective. The essence of Christianity is to place those in need in front of your own. To give and not count the cost. While I personally don’t agree with Ocasio-Cortez and her politics I do agree with the spirit behind her politics. She does put the needs of others before her own. You can define her politics as Marxist…perhaps it is, yet to to be a person who gives and does not count the cost is the essence of Christianity. Perhaps this can be narrowly be construed as a Marxist philosophy, yet I’m shocked that you would not think it admirable that she would place needs of others before her own.

Hawks need to redirect their focus. You are absolutely correct. They have stressed defense first in the rebuild and as a result have few players in the pipeline to complement 98. Drafting Levshunov was at best a mild blunder. They passed on a player( demidov) that would complement Bedard well for a D that seems to be a project.
Perhaps they need a voice has a more balanced approach to line-up construction.
Too many voices that stress D in the Hawks rebuild….

I am against abortion but I thank God I never had to make that decision earlier in my life. Certainly they are nuanced. If it is surgically removed to facilitate a state of well being in a particular individual it is a blessing. The individual has potentially come closer to happiness and contentment. Maybe in your mind it is mutilation but in theirs it is emancipating. For them, it may be similar to your Nirvana whatever that may be. The Golden Rule.

Jesus would be sensitive to the nuanced decisions that human beings encounter. Further, he would realize that sensationalizing difficult situations(mutilation?) does little to further the understanding of the trials that we all must endure. Dems(or Republicans for that matter) love abortion, perversion…really??? Remeber the Golden Rule is critical.
