I redid https://t.co/cKDLZWxM6Y to scan Alberta QR codes. Yes, you heard that right. First it was the vaccine cards, but now this is fully 100% working scanner you can use today. No app to install, all web based, 100% client-side code and works offline. #abhealth#abpoli
While working on the next big thing, I took a break to build a Wordle clone that randomizes every time you refresh the page: https://t.co/Fu34WZgrV8 -- enjoy your Monday! ☕️
@zturchan Yeah! I noticed that too. It has a lot of flaws. This I realized after is trying to capture keyboard input is blocking in some regard. It would be better to have a hidden input and then parse that so it doesn't lag. Thanks for giving it a shot and the feedback!

I was given the amazing opportunity to join Borrowell as a Lead Developer. I'm very passionate about fintech and their goal to deliver financial success to all Canadians. If you haven't already, sign up, get your free credit report, and give me a coffee ☕️ https://t.co/RAKcpAoDpT
Joking aside, if you do find something, message me with it, post to GitHub(when I open source it), or just go public and make a fool of me. Any of those ways will get the bug fixed and benefit everyone.
If you find a bug in https://t.co/i3VnUCe3vA, please don't ask for money(bug bounty). Not only is this a common scam tactic: "pay me or I go public". I'm not a corporation with a pot of gold, I made this for free to help. Also, your right click inspect element is not a bug.
@Davan Of course, that's what it is there for. May I ask what you are using to scan the QR codes? Most people I assumed would use their mobile devices.
@theReal_KPHILL@YourAlberta That was the promise from both mine and the Alberta app. Asymmetric cryptography allows us to look at the data embedded in the QR code and verify it came from a trusted source without being manipulated and without sending any part of it over the internet.
I can't in good conscious recommend the @YourAlberta Covid Records Verifier app. Please please please, if you don't use mine, at least let every business owner know it is giving false negatives for some people with 3 vaccine shots. #AbLeg#abhealth
Some #COVID19AB vaccination records are being scanned improperly by the iOS version of the AB Covid Records Verifier app, causing an error message. The app will update soon with this issue resolved. Albertans can continue to use other paper and electronic records until Nov 15.

@ThomasDangAB you are the youngest MLA, have a computer science background, and have consulted for startups?! How have we never met? Thank you for all that you do!
@Unelectables We can start a FOIP request always. It does take awhile, I have one on the municipal level of similar work and it's been over a year. From at least one source, I know Deloitte was involved in at least some of these things.
