After working in a hotel for a few weeks and quitting two days ago,
I realize just how right the people who say that time is the true currency you want to buy back are.
Knowing you have the entire day to do things you enjoy is just the best feeling in the world for me.
@LifeMathMoney People are already bad or good to begin with.
Money and power just reveals their true nature because they don't feel like they have anything to hide anymore.
That's why it's important to become strong and good before getting money.
@ML_Philosophy Honestly, there's limits for everyone, but most people give up before they've even reached close to them.
You have to become so far ahead of others that even if you're close to your limits, others will still be way too far to reach you.
@EssentialMastry Don't agree completely. If you want to react when it's something positive or funny, go for it. Have a fucking laugh. Don't try to become straight up stoic. It's boring.
But do learn to control your anger and sexual impulses.
That will help you handle social interactions better.
@PowerOfValues Couldn't say it better.
Yes it's helpful to have health care and all that stuff,
But overall if each city/community had their own cooperative style of collecting money, public infrastructures could still be run locally in an efficient way.
@wealth_director And overall some of those things will become somewhat of an addiction at some point. You'll just feel weird not doing them.
A good example is guys who've gotten used to work out and are itchy to train when they're on their rest day.
@PUA_DATING_TIPS Agreed. I heard something interesting recently:
" A beta is someone who tries to look alpha "
" An alpha is someone who doesn't care whether he's alpha or beta. He'll just do his thing no matter what"
@Positive_Call Agreed, and don't try to focus on too many things at the same time.
Become obsessed with improving one aspect of your life and focus on that for a few months to a year exclusively.
Anime fan or not, you better go watch and read Blue Lock.
This shit is a gold mine that teaches you how to have the mindset necessary to achieve big goals.
Value strength over everything.
Become a beast of muscle and fighting ability.
The rest will sort itself out on the way.
You need to know you're the shit because you're dangerous.
@yashvermX I haven't finished the book yet, but the quote does relate to a lot of things.
Basically don't try to just blindly resolve your problems the way people tell you to do it.
Try to put together a strategy that makes sense while knowing why it is needed.
@polarityperfect The black pill is fucking up a lot of men's mindsets.
What's worse is that a lot of those guys are average in looks, not the "sub 5" they talk about so much.
They just decided they were doomed, and to just stop trying.
@EssentialMastry Agreed, and not just for masturbation.
A man who can refuse a woman when it's not his priority to have sex, or if he senses something weird about her will be more likely to not get trapped into something that could destroy his career or his relationships.
@mindsetofstoics Agreed, the struggle is satisfying to remember, especially when you're now out of it.
It helps you be more grateful for what you've accomplished so far.
@OneSupermann OOOF. Very true. A friend just had an ex reach out to him after a few months, and I told him to block her right away too.
If she comes back, it's that she couldn't find better.
That means she probably got worse too.
@ML_Philosophy Not just sometimes honestly. Most of the times, don't listen to people's words.
Especially when it comes to how they treat you.
If they say they love you but treat you like shit, bounce.
If they never say they love you but treat you really well, keep them around and give it back.
