NEW: Former Navy SEAL and Senator Tim Sheehy responds after appearing to snap the arm of Marine Corps veteran Brian McGinnis.

A loud 'snap' was heard as McGinnis refused to leave the room after interrupting.

"Capitol Police were attempting to remove an unhinged protestor from the Armed Services hearing. He was fighting back. I decided to help out and de-escalate the situation," Sheehy said.
