I want to clarify a point.

Just because Warren Buffett said he is able to make billions of dollars by understanding the mispricing of securities doesn’t mean it is easy.

There are only around 3,500 billionaires in the entire world and around 300 in India.

Forget billions of dollars. Only very few people make even a few crores in their lifetime through stock picking, provided they don’t blow up.

What he is conveying is that in domains like stock picking, if you are successful, the rewards are disproportionate, which does not hold true for a teacher, soldier, or nurse.

Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, and Howard Marks have cautioned investors many times that getting rich through investing is not easy. If it were easy, so many people would get rich, which has never been the case.
