As June honors National Cancer Survivors Month, we can't think of a better moment to share the highlights of the session we recently held at the #RichiHouse with our pediatric brain tumor survivors!
🏡 Last Sunday, we filled the house to the brim with old and new friends. We enjoyed the beautiful weather outside with an outdoor games tournament that pitted parents against survivors, forcing them to work together to beat the opposing team!
After sharing lunch, we played board games, crafted a collective collage, and wrote birthday cards. As always, every session at the Richi House gives us the chance to celebrate life! This time, we got to celebrate the birthdays of one of our amazing volunteers, Sara, and our founders, @Tweets_Ricardo and @KettyPuig. Happy belated birthday to all! 🎂
Join us this month in honoring all cancer survivors. We couldn't be prouder to be part of this incredibly strong family! 💛

🌍 Big News from the @RichiFoundation!
Last year, Richi Garcia Puig launched our Environmental Workshops for the wonderful families we welcome at the #RichiHouse. The goal was to give childhood cancer survivors the opportunity to take meaningful action in response to the environmental crisis, while educating our community on caring for our planet.
Since then, Richi and our amazing volunteer, Judy, have organized incredible monthly sessions, covering everything from composting and recycling to growing sustainable food!
Now, a year later, we are thrilled to open these workshops to everyone! Our interactive sessions are held monthly at the Richi House in Holliston, MA, and are completely free to attend.
Our next workshop at the Richi House is on Saturday, June 20th at 1:00 PM! All are welcome, but please make sure to save your spot here: https://t.co/9Jdmkdw5oU
🚜 Catch us live soon!
Want to learn more about our workshops firsthand? We are delighted to announce that on Saturday, June 13th, Richi will be participating in Unity Farm Sanctuary's Dudley Fest with an informative stand. Stop by to say hello and learn how you can get involved!
Don't miss out, grab your tickets today. We would love to see you there!

May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month. To honor this, we want to dedicate this month's #FacesOfHope at the #RichiHouse to Ian, a 23-year-old survivor of a juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma (one of the most common pediatric brain tumors).
Having Ian at a Richi House session means that laughter and puns are assured, and that ice cream is definitely coming out of the freezer at some point!
He describes himself as "outgoing, friendly, funny, and thoughtful," even adding, "I am great!" We can absolutely guarantee that he is one of the greatest! Ian has been part of the very first cohort of pediatric brain tumor survivors at the Richi House since the beginning, almost three years ago. For him, the sessions have "added to my life." Without them, he says, "I would not have gotten to meet new people and also try new things like the Foundry fundraiser in Cambridge. I now know what a Timmy Cake is , and they are delicious (shoutout to our friends at the Timothy O'Connell Foundation!). Because of Richi House, I am also involved with Richi Catering and Richi Environment." Indeed, Ian is one of our best workers at Richi Catering, and he's always ready to lend a hand at our events. Thanks, Ian!
Ian doesn't only love the ice cream and chocolate options at the Richi House; he also loves "the friends, community, and feeling understood. I have met so many great people. My time at Richi House is amazing." He adds that he wouldn't change a single thing: "The group is wonderful, and it's great to have a group of counselors that get it all. I am not just someone in a wheelchair."
As we wrap up Brain Tumor Awareness Month, #GoGrayinMay and and join us in celebrating Ian and all the amazing pediatric brain tumor survivors who come to the Richi House every month. You all light up the house! 💛

April is National Volunteer Month, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by dedicating this #FacesOfHope to one of our amazing volunteers, Taylor!
Taylor joined the #RichiHouse family in October 2024 after hearing about us from old friends. "I immediately knew I wanted to go and see what it was about!" she says. Since then, she’s been a pillar of our community, bringing a sense of warmth and joy to every activity. She even jumps in for our big events, where she often supports us as a bartender alongside her friend, Krista. 🪩
For Taylor, the magic is in the connection: "What I enjoy most is the sense of community, family, and support. When you’re at Richi House, you know you’re in a safe, comfortable environment where you can be your true self, surrounded by friends who feel like family."
When she isn’t busy exploring the world as an avid traveler, Taylor is looking toward the future: "I’m so incredibly grateful for the people I’ve met and been reunited with through Richi House. I’m looking forward to it becoming a bigger part of my life." 🏡
To Taylor and all of our incredible volunteers: thank you for your dedication. We can’t wait to continue sharing these amazing experiences together! 💛

Every session at the #RichiHouse is an occasion to celebrate!
Last week, curiosity "entered the chat" as our two cohorts of pediatric brain tumor survivors, patients, and families gathered for a day of discovery. We played a curiosity game to uncover the mysteries of life, like why we yawn and where those "butterflies" in our stomachs actually come from! 🦋
Between the games, we shared delicious cakes to celebrate our members' recent birthdays. Happy birthday to all of you! We feel incredibly lucky to share these milestones and sweet moments with you. 🎂
The weekend got even better on Sunday when we met the wonderful team from @FarmSanctuary . We loved learning about their work as an animal sanctuary and we’re already dreaming of a future visit to meet their residents! 🐾
Our next big celebration together will be the Carnival of Colors, and the excitement is already building. Will you join us?

Hold tight to your seats, because you’re about to meet a one-of-a-kind person! This month’s #FacesOfHope at the #RichiHouse is dedicated to Carley.
Diagnosed with a ganglioglioma (a rare type of brain tumor), when she was just 2 years old, she is now 17 and describes herself as “absolutely cool”, and after spending time with her, we couldn’t agree more. ✨
For her, the sessions at the Richi House have been a vital way to find inclusivity. “I guess I know more people in my situation,” she shares.
When it comes to the future of the Richi House, Carley has big plans. She dreams of a "Carley Day" and a formal ball, complete with fancy dresses and finding the “diamond of the season”. Most importantly, she’s on a mission to bring @edsheeran to the Richi House for a concert. Ed, if you're reading this, your #1 fan is waiting! 🎶
To wrap up this month’s faces of hope, we believe Carley’s words in regards of what she’d like to share with the @RichiFoundation's community, are the best ending we could find: “You don't have to be ashamed of your situation. All you have to do is find your crown of confidence. Because if you battle cancer, you're a superhero”.
Join us in celebrating one of our favorite superheroes, Carley! 💛

While the nor'easter was brewing outside, the #RichiHouse was full of nothing but warmth this week. We were so happy to host the first 2026 sessions for our pediatric brain tumor, leukemia, and lymphoma cohorts, including patients, survivors, and their families. 🏡
The house was fully transformed with Valentine’s decor to kick off the new year together. We started on Thursday with an amazing dinner for our leukemia and lymphoma group, where we were especially excited to welcome one of our members back! After facing a fourth relapse and recently undergoing a bone marrow transplant, seeing him recovering and back in our circle was truly the highlight of the evening. ✨
On Saturday, we continued the celebrations with our brain tumor cohort, crafting heartfelt Valentines for our loved ones and breaking into a festive piñata filled with sweets. As always, there were plenty of laughs and stories shared over some very "merciless" games of Uno!
There is truly no place like the #RichiHouse when these groups are together. We really missed all of those who couldn't join us because of the weather conditions, but we are so grateful for these moments and can't wait to see everyone again soon! ❤️
Partnership is at the heart of everything we do. We're delighted to announce that @RocklandTrust Charitable Foundation is joining our Carnival of Colors as a Bronze Sponsor! Their support underscores our shared commitment to improving the lives of children and families affected by childhood cancer. 🎗️
As Andrea Bevvino Borowiecki Borowiecki, Vice President of Community Giving and Engagement at Rockland Trust and Executive Director of the Rockland Trust Charitable Foundatio, puts it:
“The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation is honored to support the Richi Foundation and their inaugural Carnival of Colors. Their work improving the quality of life of pediatric cancer patients and advancing the development of cancer treatments has brought hope to so many children and families, and we are proud to stand by them in their mission.”
We, too, are proud to have such committed partners by our side, and we can’t wait to celebrate together on May 2nd. ✨

For #InternationalChildhoodCancerDay, we are sharing something close to our hearts. 💛
Today, we publish our first white paper: “A Pioneering Community Model for Lifelong Childhood Cancer Survivorship.”
This document presents the #RichiHouse model, a structured, community-based, educationally grounded framework designed to support families affected by childhood cancer across the full continuum: diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, long-term management, and loss.
While survival has improved, the developmental and relational impact of childhood cancer often extends far beyond clinical care. Richi House was created to address that gap.
On a day dedicated to global awareness, we invite you to read, reflect, and join us in strengthening long-term support for every family affected by childhood cancer. 🎗️
🔗 Download the full white paper here: https://t.co/ZYDovUPyuT
We invite you to join us for a morning of connection and creativity! 🌸
The @RichiFoundation returns to the @FoundryCamb's Festival for another year! Our activity, Blooming Pathways, will feature Marisabel, a leukemia survivor and #RichiHouse member who transformed her journey into a creative business.
Join us for an inspiring talk on the invisible threads that connect us, followed by a hands-on workshop to craft your own pipe-cleaner flower, a symbol of healing and collective strength. Everyone is welcome!

Our mission requires commitment and we’ve found a spectacular partner in @MandT_Bank! ✨
We are incredibly proud to announce M&T Bank as Platinum Sponsor of the @RichiFoundation's Carnival of Colors. This partnership is about so much more than a single day of fun for everyone. While the Carnival will fill the Cambridge Foundry with laughter and color on May 2nd, it also shines a light on our year-round commitment to support families affected by childhood cancer through #RichiHouse and to find better treatments through #RichiCure.
As Jeffrey Carpenter, M&T Bank’s Regional President in Massachusetts, shared: “M&T Bank is honored to support the Richi Foundation’s Carnival of Colors, a celebration that will bring joy to the community and hope to children impacted by cancer and their families. Through this contribution from The M&T Bank Charitable Foundation, we’re helping improve the quality of life for children with cancer and supporting families.
