@JoeMorr92@trickytrees12@nffc_jezza It’s not really a route to winning anything, though. Can’t see Spurs spending big on him when they have Simons who looked like he was coming good toward the end of the season. The only thing that will turn his head is if he feels like it will improve his England chances
@GloriousBanners Ordered - absolutely love your pictures of games. You capture the emotion so well. Think I’ll have a read of this and then wrap it up for my baby boy to open when he’s 18 along with this seasons shirt. Maybe we’ll be in the champions league in 2043!
@Forest_Review@adidasUK For me, the way the top clubs wear their new shirt for the last game is sales genius. Finish the season and have it on sale. Father’s Day coming up too, bit crucially, last home game you’ve got 30,000 potential customers in a good mood in walking distance to the shop
@Rich__1977@Forest_Review@adidasUK No, not at all. They could release the shirt and sell it in January if needed. The day one sales are daily big, but total shirt sales aren’t worth a Luca Netz to us, let alone a Brennan Johnson.
@UberForest@Forest_Review@adidasUK Disagree - as a premier league side we’re on the very sharp end of their pyramid.
Adidas are also big enough that one team doesn’t have to wait for another. The delays are entirely forest related and have been because of sponsors.
We should have a trefoil this season
@real_calculator@xCleaver_NFFC Fair, have to agree. None have reached where I’d hoped, but if they’d started as they’d finished the season maybe they would have done. Igor Jesus has done well.
@real_calculator@xCleaver_NFFC Fair to disagree, but I’d say that none of them had a chance to really integrate and play until Vitor came in. Now they’ve actually had some game time we can see that they have a lot more about them than we were ever able to see
@real_calculator@xCleaver_NFFC Disagree here. Nuno made Edu into a villain. We’ve now started to see his signings were good and he was right to veto Traore. If Nuno could have swallowed his pride this season could have been magical
@Mister_Forest@ismith1968 Our transfer dealings aren’t dictated by the manager, though. That’s why Nuno left.
As we’ve now been able to see some summer signings actually play, Edu wasn’t as wrong as many would have you believe.
@YouBloodyReds Gave us the opportunity of our best season ever. Then decided to ruin it. Couldn’t get on board with signings who have turned out to be good, then we inexplicably lose 3-0 at home to West Ham.
