I thoroughly enjoyed Into the Woods at @BelvoirSt tonight. It’s one of my favourite Sondheim scores and in this production the music and lyrics are centre stage with an innovative production and a brilliant cast that does justice to Sondheim’s genius.

The Gershwin was excellent, but the highlight for me was the second act performance of Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. Hearing that iconic score performed by a full symphony orchestra was quite something.

I haven’t been at any theatre or performances in ages. So it’s so nice to be back at the @SydOperaHouse to see the @sydsymph perform Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. After a busy few weeks I’m looking forward to being transported to New York.

Just saw Kairos at @Carriageworks. Visually intriguing and a high level of skill in dance but conceptually incomprehensible. Too many individual ideas that didn’t tie together. @sydney_festival
