Holy Spirit is the advantage.

On January 28th, I was traveling to Benin with our team to document a wedding.

As usual, we prayed in our minivan before we left Ibadan, but on this particular day, I was specifically prompted in my spirit that we needed to take some time to pray.

And yeah, we did, but in a different way.

It was a deep prayer session filled with tongues, and it lasted for about 45 minutes.

We arrived in Benin safely. The journey was fun, we documented the wedding, and the experience was beautiful.

After the wedding, we decided to leave Benin by 6am so we could get back to Ibadan early.

I drove, and the journey from Benin to Ijebu didn’t even take us 3 hours. For clarity, Ijebu-Ode to Ibadan shouldn’t be more than a 45-minute to 1-hour drive.

On our way to Ibadan, we had an accident. A terrible one.

Our van was literally flying, but to our greatest surprise, we were preserved.

Not even a scratch on any of the 10 of us.

The only thing that happened was a leakage, and the body of our car was preserved. It took us another 6 hours to fix it, and we eventually got to Ibadan around 7pm.

A few months later, I was driving to Lagos. I had totally forgotten about the incident when the Holy Spirit whispered:

“The prayer you prayed on your way to Benin was to prevent the accident that was to happen.”

This is one among countless experiences with the Holy Spirit, and I am just grateful to God that I am in Him and He is in me.

It’s like you have issues with defining things properly, and you also have issues with calling things explicitly and expressly what they are. There is a huge difference between opinion and disrespect. Whether it is sheer disrespect, loud or subtle disrespect, disrespect is disrespect.

And Okocha disrespected Ronaldo, anyhow you look at it. I mean, anyhow any reasonable person looks at it.

The question was: Messi or Ronaldo? Everyone has the right to their opinion, but saying Messi and going further to berate Ronaldo by equating his years of hard work, magic, memorable nights and numerous clutch moments to just “a goal scorer” is utter garbage and disrespectful. He even went further to put him on par with another player who was not even part of the subject matter.

When you do what Okocha did, you don’t expect Ronaldo’s loyal fans, I mean people like me, to fold our arms and let it slide all because Okocha is a Nigerian or what?

I can’t remember any good moments Okocha has single-handedly given me in football, but Ronaldo has given me and millions of others numerous nights and afternoons filled with joy and euphoria. Let’s be guided.

I feel they are even taking it easy on him. For what he said, he should be getting more sticks than he’s getting now.

For some of us, Ronaldo is sacrosanct. Don’t touch him.

Pick your Messi in peace as your GOAT, but if you don’t know how to elevate and praise your Messi without berating Ronaldo, we will be here to answer you fully in your folly.

Once again, when it’s about Cristiano Ronaldo, be very careful how you talk because the man means so much to us that some of us can do anything because of him.

@promziix He can get his bias wrong for that long. In trading, sometimes being flexible is hard. Once you have this itch that price hasn’t gotten to where it is supposed to, one may find himself trying to “course correct” the market by seeking only that bias. It is tough, really.
