@MindyWheelerArt It’s not even comic drama. I was introduced to CG by one of our LCS owners when EVS was doing 20 minute “comics are dying” videos. Now everything is a 4 hour stream about nothing and the drama is which poor person is the poorest. Does not appeal to a normal person like myself.

@MindyWheelerArt Agree in regard to the Big 2, especially Marvel, but I’m referring to mainstream indies as well (Image and Boom in particular). Just Ghost Machine alone is putting out enough good books to satisfy most people. There’s a lot of talented writers right now that aren’t agenda driven.

There’s always been weirdos and idiots associated with CG, and it’s worse than ever, but it’s not why the movement died. It’s been dead since a lot of mainstream comics became worth reading again, and there is no need for alternatives that are overpriced and mediocre at best.
