This week’s discussion about Royal Navy ships convinces me of three things:
1. We need a minimum of 30 escorts to ensure availability across all key tasks.
2. We need a Frigate Factory that punches out a new ship every 12 months.
3. We need 5,000 additional sailors.

Thanks to the crew of @British_Airways flight 2684 from Gatwick to Bilbao who gave me this lovely card and champagne when hearing it was my birthday. Very sweet of them. Makes turning 33 easier to handle!
