Some things are just indefensible!

I’d argue that maybe he wasn’t adequately counseled and didn’t understand the need for the fasting, however “smoking causes oral cancer” boldly written on cigarette packs has not stopped anyone.

I’d argue that the pre-op review and checklist done was inadequate but the patient that has mind to smuggle food to eat after being counseled can as well tell a lie.

I don't agree that courtesy demands, however, there's nothing wrong with paying the bills of someone you just met at a restaurant or supermarket.
