Yesterday's volunteer morning was the 6th of the year, time is flying! We are already halfway through the year, how time is flying! Usual activities took place including bramble “bashing” and creating new hedges on the woodland boundaries. Flowers are thriving at the moment.
My neighbours and I (8 people in total) asked RBG if we could opt out of glyphosate spraying on a 95 metre stretch of our street. We are committed to manually weeding ourselves and collaborating fully with the Council in a pilot scheme. It’s great that the Cabinet Member agreed to communicate with GGCN so here’s hoping for a favourable response. Surely there’s no harm in trying.
So, you’ve seen Morris dance on the news this week and thought that looks fun and good exercise. Tonight, why not come along to Greenwich Morris practice @MycenaeHouse from 8pm. Have you got the bells?
