@ItalianoChi@ChicagoBears Look at it from the other side. If those things were meaningful to the public officials-the history, the lakefront, the legacy- they would value the team enough to keep them. By rejecting the team, they have pushed them to a welcoming state that desires history and legacy.
The loss of your father will be forever an incalculable tragedy of America. It is the nature of these events that we can never know how our world would have been different. But it is certain that the double loss of MKL, Jr. & RFK forever harmed America and an untold number of Americans.
@Styx619@TheSWSix@WolfInBrum_1877@Strategic_FC@FulhamFC I have no complaints about Marco, but I think the record shows that the team is stagnant, and Fulham and Silva are probably going to benefit from going in different directions.
@ChuckRossDC Must be an insider kind of thing that these network media people and Washington Press Clubbers don't have an understanding of how they are viewed by the non-political viewers.
@Styx619@TheSWSix@WolfInBrum_1877@Strategic_FC@FulhamFC Then it becomes a front office issue. Are they content to be mid-table year after year? Or do they want to try to break into that Big 6? There's no rule saying they have to stay in the middle.
Fulham's highest PL finish with Marco was 10th, in his 2nd season, first in the PL with FFC. He also had Mitrovic, who was a great goal scorer. After that, 13th, 11th, & 11th again. We can talk forever about whose to blame, but is anyone really satisfied with finishing mid-table every year?
Ever notice that the teams that always have high draft picks don't win, while the teams that have low draft picks do? Jets have not been to a Super Bowl in more than 50 years; the Browns have never been to a Super Bowl. The Patriots have won 6 Super Bowls since they last drafted the 1st overall pick-and the Steelers have also won 6 since they last had the first overall pick.
@PodSaveAmerica Jill Biden is lying. She never thought it was a stroke, and she had seen this behavior quite a bit. She must think it serves some purpose to try to add this to the narrative, but it's such an unbelievable lie that it means nothing.
I believed that Biden would have won in 2016, had he run, but of course, Hillary was not going to step aside. When Biden appeared in the 2020 debates, I was stunned by how dramatically he had changed. When the media never mentioned this, it was clear that they were part of the plan.
The 2020 Democratic Field was incredibly weak, and the lawfare campaign had not yet started against Trump. Biden was viewed as the most palatable option, in spite of his infirmities. Lacking an insider to reveal the inner workings of the 2020 Democrat campaign, we will likely never know how this was orchestrated.
@mirandadevine It's surprising that Dr. Biden didn't think this through. In an effort to gather sympathy for her husband, she comes off as a heartless, ambitious monster. Then again, that impression might not bother her.
@LetsGoBack___@ggreenwald That immunity ruling came in mid-2024, with only a handful of active cases.
I understand that he did a lot of shady things, but the lack of prosecutions are concerning.
@RollingStone What does this say about the highly educated politicians that have overseen a steady decline with an occasional disaster thrown in here and there?
@BOptimist1973@ggreenwald I think you misunderstood my comment. I'm surprised there were not more criminal charges. And more serious ones. From the allegations you listed, why were these not pursued legally?
