I liked the first @FutureSox Roundup with @ElijahEv8 and @TripleAJeff . Look forward to it all year. I agree that I think Jacob Gonzalez will do better. I think he did well at "instructs".
@SSBehavior It is hard to judge as the White Sox have their toughest stretch coming up June 5- June 24th (Phillies, Braves, Dodgers, Yankees, Guardians). Tigers are the only team in that stretch under .500, but those games are in division, at Detroit.
@TripleAJeff Jeff, glad that Alexander Albertus is happy to chat, even if he doesn't want interviews on socials. I am guessing you converse with him in English. Does he speak Papiamento, Dutch, or Spanish too? Does the team have a translator for him? Aruba and Curaçao are unique
@jsanchez1878@BrookeFletcher@SoxOn35th A. Don't think beat writers are overpaid.
B. She is paid by the team, basically (CHSN). So she should have the inside track.
@omar87313174@soxmachine_josh Would take Gonzo or Nishida over Acuna; but I am not sure when Hays or Pereira are due back. Leasure seems to be doing okay down in AAA. Waiting to see when Wikelman gets back from injury.
@soxmachine_josh From now until June 28th will really solidify what this year's team is:
-West Coast Trip (2 Series)
-AL Central (3 Series)
-Tough opponents, over 500 (4 Series)
-AL Central (3 Series)

@JasonRRMartinez "The White Sox are using the Monday off day to flip Anthony Kay and Sean Burke in the rotation. Kay will start the finale of this series against the Royals on Thursday on regular rest, and Burke will lead off the Cubs series on Friday."
@ElijahEv8@TheseTimes2025 Interested to see how Carlson's bat plays as the sample size gets larger. And that doesn't even get into the UT IF types like Bergolla, Jacob Gonzalez, Lodise, Shelton, etc
@ElijahEv8@TheseTimes2025 SS is a great position for the White Sox. Colson looking good at SS Defense and 130 wRC+ in MLB. Bonemer's bat plays at every position right now ( he was 81 FG and 77 Pipeline 2024). Roch likely coming in as #1 this year (he was 36th by FG and 44th by Pipeline as HS in 2023).
The White Sox called up Tyler Davis while designating Lucas Sims for assignment. Here’s an interview we did with Davis late last year, just in case you weren’t reading updates from the Arizona Fall League during the World Series for some reason.

Two of MLB's best LHP prospects meet in the @MiLB Free Game of the Day:
Thomas White (Marlins), who is making his first Triple-A appearance of 2026, leads the @JaxShrimp against Hagen Smith (White Sox) and @KnightsBaseball at 7:05 p.m. ET: https://t.co/ahTqRXbsvv
@eseper2@JamesFox917 "crowded AA Rotation: Shane Smith (replaced Noah Schultz) Hagen Smith and Tanner McDougal. Then 40-man guys who should stay stretched out Sandlin, Davitt, Schweitzer and now Nikhazy. So Riley, who won't need R5 protection until after this season stayed in AA.
