I host the podcast Tall Guy Talks Travel, and I recently walked Ireland's 🇮🇪 National Famine Way to raise $ for survivors of domestic violence. (He/him)
I wonder if Dave Roberts breaths a sigh of relief every time Shohei Ohtani gives up his first hit in the 5th, so he doesn’t have to worry about the keeping him in or pulling him with a no-no on the line.
This is one of those takes that is 100% nostalgia. You remember the “vibe” of Sunday Night Baseball when you were a kid. Go back and listen to Joe Morgan. He knew absolutely nothing about the game. Great player, but zero comprehension of analytics or what wins games.
On Tuesday, Shohei Ohtani hit a triple in the second inning, and that ball was authenticated and is being sold for $10,000 by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

When I was in my last few weeks as a 14-year-old, I heard a song on the radio. The next time I got my $20 for mowing my great-aunt's lawn, I bought the album. That moment may have defined the man I became more than any other moment. Happy 52nd birthday, Alanis Morissette.
