Congratulations to Janelle Stelson and her team on their convincing primary election victory and a superb start to the general election campaign!
Now, more than ever, it's crucial that we stand united with Team Stelson. Together, WE can and will soundly defeat Scott Perry.
I spoke with Janelle last night. I congratulated her and pledged my support for her efforts to win the general election this November and serve all the people of PA10.
As always, Janelle was kind, cordial, and respectful during our conversation. She expressed admiration for our campaign and welcomed working “shoulder-to-shoulder” to defeat Perry going forward.
Our determination to defeat Perry is stronger than ever this morning. Please unite with me in working hard with Janelle and her team to make it so.

Dickinson Township Democrats unite!!
A very interesting note----in a precinct where Republican voters normally dramatically outnumber the Democrats who show up --- TODAY so far …. THAT TREND IS REVERSED!!!! 😊
Onward to many other precincts today!
Moving forward … “I've promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.”

P.S. The “We Support Our Veterans” sticker on my shirt was given to me this morning by one of those people whose vote we must win to defeat Scott Perry in November—we commonly call them “reasonable Republicans.” Another small but potentially powerful sign.

Happy Earth Day 2024!
While we are working our butts off to WIN an election, Mother Nature remains (appropriately) blissfully unaware!!
Of course, all those deer could be saying, “Folks, get with the program NOW and stop screwing up OUR planet. NOW!"
Notably, these deer ARE demonstrating a basic survival strategy --- which one might recognize as a classic defensive perimeter, with everyone (almost) facing outward.
Perhaps it's time for all of us to look outward beyond our own backyard.
And take action accordingly!

Meet Sage Turnage, York Suburban High School Senior enroute to study Political Science at Millersville University next Fall. Walking alongside me yesterday, Sage quickly got the hang of talking with Hershey voters at their doors. As you can see, we convinced several to ‘plant’ our yard sign on their property. I’m confident many will also vote for me. 😊
Meanwhile, watch out world as Sage prepares for an exciting life --- coming first to a door in York near you soon!

“The years of Scott Perry misrepresenting the people and communities of central Pennsylvania are finally coming to an end.
In this primary election, only I have won elections as a Democrat in a Republican district. I uniquely have the depth and breadth of experience – as a combat veteran, an international peace-keeping veteran, co-owner of a small business, a rural resident, a teacher and a public official – needed to deal with all of the issues that come before Congress.
I am eager to confront Scott Perry on his extreme and dangerous record this fall.
Inflation and wages are at the top of people’s minds. But Scott Perry voted against the Inflation Reduction Act and against establishing a living wage for working people. Instead, he tried to hold America hostage to an agenda that even most Republicans don’t want.
Defending democracy is a close second on people’s minds. But Scott Perry was a leader of the January 6 insurrection and for more than three years has refused to tell the American people what he knows about that attack on American democracy. And now he does everything he can think of to advance a "Moscow First" agenda that strengthens Vladimir Putin at the expense of democracy in Ukraine.

Muchisimas Gracias to Capital Region Stands Up for running another great Candidate Forum for our Race to Replace Scott Perry in PA10! Thanks for another opportunity to listen to and learn from PA10 folks and advocate vigorously on their behalf. Thanks to DENNIS OWENS and CATE BARRON for their excellent questions.
I had the time to advocate on your behalf on much, but not all, of our core message and commitment to you:
I’m running to strengthen our democracy so that it works for all of us.
A strong democracy heals our divisions so that we can solve problems, not hold onto them for some political advantage.
With a strong democracy, we can:
· Guarantee for all-time women's reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy.
· Reduce gun violence and crime everywhere in America by enacting gun safety laws that the American people support and that are faithful to the 2nd Amendment.
· Help everyone earn a family-sustaining wage that provides peace of mind and a path to home ownership.
· Make Social Security and Medicare bulletproof from those who would undermine and destroy them. Every American should be able to rely on these vital programs in their retirement.
· Restore a healthy climate for our children and their children to live, learn, and love with clean air, clean water, and fertile soil.

If we want to achieve these things, we have to elect people who will bring us together, not drive us apart. By experience and training, I am that kind of leader.
