@thorners125@Susie__Chan Dont know you Mark but echo your words I ran my first Ultra at Pilgrims on Saturday. I am a laryngectomee having had op in July we need to push the limits and continue the fight. All power to you💪
@ExtremeEnergyUK Thanks everyone so much, my first ultra six months to the day after laryngectomy. I am very self conscious but everyone made the day so easy, the people maning the feed stations were brill
All done what a day 33 miles, so many hills(3500ft of climbing) and so much mud. That's 6 months to the day I was released from hospital I love symmetry 😂 Thank you everyone for your support along the way it has meant so much 💙💙
@thorners125 Hi Mark all power to you fella, cancer is a word not a sentence, I had radiotherapy dec 18 and a total laryngectomy in July 19. I have found running and exercise to be my salvation - completed cardiff half in October and am doing the pilgrim ultra next weekend stay strong💪
