Noel is known to be someone who has a tight grip on all aspects of the band. If he chose not to ask about the details of the pricing then imho this was probably deliberate, to give plausible deniability

The presale pricing guide did not stipulate that prices would be hiked to reflect high demand.

By the time I got through queue the only tickets left were probably the worst available: seated in lower tier at opposite end of venue to the stage (wembley). They were £497 each.

Feel really let down today by @liamgallagher & @NoelGallagher AKA @oasis. I didn’t get tickets, which I’m sad about and that’s cool. It’s a lottery. But allowing @TicketmasterUK to run dynamic pricing for those who did get through is such a massive “fuck you” to your fans.
