Saku Monsters Version [2.0] (Phase 2) is live on the App Store!

Here's everything you need to know about the first Blue Egg drop event and what to expect in the upcoming days with Saku Monsters.

• How will the first Blue Egg drop be split up?
There will be 10,000 Eggs available to the public and an additional 10,000 Eggs exclusively reserved for the top 10,000 users on the current Saku Monsters leaderboard.

• Can I buy more than one?
Yes, if you’re lucky enough. Keep in mind that there’s a 90-second cooldown after each purchase. This applies to both the 10,000 eggs on the whitelist and the ones available publicly.

• How do I buy a Blue Egg?
Blue Eggs cost 40 Saku Gems. To buy Saku Gems, head to: https://t.co/oouirFitQM
This is the only official place to buy Saku Gems, so be careful! According to our Terms of Service, Gems are nonrefundable.

• When will the Blue Egg become available in the in-app market?
Within the next few days, you’ll see the Blue Egg appear in the in-app market. There will be a countdown showing when it will launch and become ready for purchase, so be sure your account has at least 40 Gems! Gems will always be the main way to acquire Saku Monster Eggs. Solana is still experiencing some congestion, and we want to ensure this process is as smooth as possible for everyone. We also want to provide everyone with enough time to purchase some Gems.

• What is the Slime Egg that’s available in the Saku Monsters in-app Market now?
The Slime Egg is our Seasonal Free Egg, and the supply is infinite for a limited time. It always hatches a common Sluggo Saku Monster, but there is still a chance that it will hatch a shiny one.

• How likely am I to hatch a shiny Saku Monster?
It’s rare, but there’s about a 1 in 200 chance of it happening.

• Why can’t I transfer Sluggo as an NFT?
Saku Monsters hatched from Seasonal Eggs only become an NFT at the end of each season.

• Is this the only Blue Egg drop?
We’re carefully balancing the supply and demand of our Monsters. We also understand that Android users won’t be able to access this initial Egg drop and we’re doing our best to ensure that they have a chance to purchase some of the first Saku Monsters as well. Once we introduce the next Egg type, the Blue Egg will never be available again.

• Why are eggs $40?
It's no secret that we could have launched a collection priced much higher than $40. Since the inception of Saku Monsters, our goal has been to break away from the metas of this space and create a truly scalable Web3 model. We want Saku Monsters to evoke the feeling of visiting a digital collectibles store, where you can purchase your favorite action figure, pack of cards, or in this case, an egg from your favorite IP!

• How do I grow my Saku Monster?
Similar to Phase 1, you must respond to notifications offered twice a day in order to progress your Egg and Saku Monster’s growth. This time, you have around 20 minutes to participate before you have to wait until the next notification. As long as you respond during the timeframe, you can progress your Monster or Egg. We are constantly working on new Minigames to add to this mechanic to make the experience more dynamic. Consider the current game (Axle Run) in Version 2.0 as our first Minigame.

• What else is coming in Phase 2?
From Phase 1 Version [1.0] to Version [1.9], we've added a plethora of fun features, and we're gearing up to introduce even more from Version [2.0] to Version [2.9]. At Saku Monsters, we firmly believe that providing consistent and relevant updates to the community experience is crucial for success in Web3.

• I still don’t understand?
Don’t worry! Saku Monsters is a community-based experience, and discovery is a huge part of the fun! We’re so excited for you all to start collecting Saku Monsters.
