I HAVE just watched the final episode of Channel 4's Tip Toe. The end, featured the most shocking violence I think I've ever seen on screen. The most disturbing reminder of the dangers of intolerance from a drama that must be BAFTA bound.

JUST had another fabulous meal at Yara in Altrincham. Their Damas chicken is to die for, topped with chips and a Greek salad. I simply haven't had chicken as tender as this.

WATCHED a wonderful documentary about the latest artist/genius Andy Warhol on Sky Arts last night. Nearly 40 years after this great man's death his works remain timeless and deeply affecting and still relevant.

BOUGHT a copy of the 1989 Rainbow annual from the Oxfam shop in Altrincham. The children's TV show, not the rock band! Forty years on I've still not managed to work out what Zippy actually was.
