@steve_karras Loved this piece. I had my own horrifying interaction with its subjectโBEFORE 10/7. Then, a couple years later, encountered the profile just as you described itโ& had the same reactions you had. Thought you might be interested in hearing about my experience. If so, DM me.
@JerryJjjjjjjjjj@truahrabbis And... secular law shouldn't infringe on a Jewish mandate to abort at the times when one exists, since there ARE such times. Reproductive freedom IS religious freedom: infringing on the former jeopardizes the latter & as a relig minority we should vehemently oppose such efforts.
@JerryJjjjjjjjjj@truahrabbis ie, There IS a value of reproductive freedom. No, not the same as asserting that centuries of Jewish sources equate with a pro-choice policy stance for secular law in America. But pro-choice = more consistent--affirms the same idea of repro freedom based on one's own conscience.
@KEOSOLL @ClaytonRWalker@PatOnWheel "This cheeseburger-in-her-name tweeter is sucking a beverage in her profile pic & using an adverb incorrectly in her bio."
*Just literally describing things I see with my eyes & make sense of with my brain!*
(Very bizarre subthread based on a tweet that contributed...what? ๐คทโโ๏ธ)
@PatOnWheel I know exactly what these contestants experienced. Was on "5th Grader" back in '08. Cruised to $175K, hit a question I thought I knew but was a little thrown off; couldn't regain my composure under the pressure. Should've dropped out but committed to answering, "lost" $150K. โน๏ธ
@csmcgrl23 @suncrush01@PatOnWheel You're getting a little too focused on cap being a narrow, specialized item. Yes, some head gear *today* is more likely to be called a cap. Historically, they were more synonymous, with cap being more of the default word for what today is more commonly referred to as a hat.
@JohnsonCubed@JasperJanssen @DaWorldIsOnFire @csmcgrl23 @PatOnWheel Water? Cockroaches? Oxygen? Shoes? Beards?
No--not fairly/realistically considered household items.
Sink, insect repellent, carbon monoxide alarm, shoe rack, razor. Those would fairly be described as household items.
Chex Mix might spend time in my house, but no. "Food item"
