"She was born without a brain. If you feed her, you're just prolonging the inevitable."
Let that sink in. Doctors actually told this family to starve their newborn baby because she would "die in a few days," and sent them straight to hospice. They completely wrote her off. But instead of listening to the "experts," this family chose to trust God.
And it only took ONE doctor who was willing to give her a chance to change everything.
Look at her now. She is a thriving, happy, beautiful 3-year-old proving the entire medical establishment wrong. This is exactly why we fight the Culture of Death so fiercely. A medical diagnosis is not a death warrant, and a child’s right to life, as well as basic nourishment, should never be decided by a bureaucrat in a white coat.
Things that triggered the left this week:
- a clean reflecting pool
- a name on a building
- a murderer getting convicted of murder
- a sporting event at the White House
- a successful IPO
- welders and janitors becoming millionaires
Austin Metcalf is dead.
Let’s stop dancing around the obvious.
Austin Metcalf received the death penalty.
Karmelo Anthony received 35 years.
One of them lives.
One of them gets a gravestone.
Save the faux outrage.
The real victim in this case is NOT the convicted killer.
The real victim is the young man who will never come home again and the family that will spend the rest of their lives grieving a loss that can never be undone.
This was a track meet.
A place for competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
NOT violence.
NOT murder.
And spare us the racial narratives.
Murder is wrong regardless of the race of the victim or the perpetrator. Any decent society should be able to agree on that.
Austin Metcalf lost everything.
His family got a life sentence of grief.
And while some are busy turning this tragedy into a racial debate, the Metcalf family is looking at the empty chair at the dinner table and remembering who actually paid the highest price.
Austin Metcalf got the death penalty.
Never forget that.
The Rosenqvist/Malukas onboards synched up with @IndycarRadio.
Because you’ve already watched the last lap 500 times this week. Why not make it 501?

@RealJamesWoods I agree with the sentiment. I think it's possible to be Catholic and still be a true Christian, but official church doctrine won't lead you there. Read the words of Jesus recorded in scripture and ignore the tradition that is not Biblical. I long for everyone to find salvation.
Bill Cassidy Tears Into Trump in Concession Speech: I thank you so much for being here. I really do.
First, let me start. I’ve spoken with John, I’ve spoken with Julia and I congratulate them both. This is not the result that I necessarily wanted, but I feel great. I’ve been able to go across our state for the last six months in a battle of the campaign, meeting people across the state who care about our state, and I feel great for the privilege. Let me just say that.
My pastor is supposed to be on sabbatical, but he’s here. Thank you for showing up.
Let me say my thank you’s first. First, thank you Lori Cask. Thank you to my family, thank you to you, thank you to the voters of Louisiana. Thank you very much.
Now, I came out and I said, I feel great. I’ve had the privilege of representing the state of Louisiana for 12 years. I’ve been able to participate in democracy. When you participate in democracy, sometimes it doesn’t turn out the way you wanted to. You don’t howl. You don’t lie. You don’t claim that the election is stolen. You don’t manufacture some excuse. You thank the voters for the privilege of representing the state or the country for as long as you have that privilege. That’s what I’m doing right now.
The people who voted for me want leaders who work for the good of everyone, not just for themselves. As your senator, that’s been my mission. I built it upon being a doctor. Medicine teaches you that words can uplift and words can destroy. That you have the great trust of the nation. With the trust of the patient comes great responsibility. As scripture says, to those who much has been given, much is required. It’s been a privilege to do it for the last 12 years.
Let me just set the record straight. Our country is not about one individual. It’s about the welfare of all Americans and it’s about our Constitution. And it’s the welfare of my people and my state and my country and our Constitution to which I am loyal.
If someone doesn’t understand that, and attempts to control others through using the levers of power, they are serving themselves. They are not about serving us. That person does not qualify to lead me and you.
Being a conservative doesn’t mean trying to destroy your opponent. It means trying to win them over with the power of your ideas. Leaders must unite. History shows that when the American people unite, we can beat any country, we can beat any problem, and that’s what we have now.
Leadership should be steady, not erratic. Thoughtful, not impulsive. Leaders should think through the consequences of their actions before embarking on something and then seeing the American people suffer those consequences later. That’s how leaders should be judged. And I welcome that judgment.
I’m also asked if I’m bothered by being attacked on the internet. Insults only bother me if they come from somebody of character and integrity. I find that people of character and integrity don’t spend their time attacking people on the internet.
What matters to me is making our country and our state a better place. I will continue for my time in the Senate to work to make better-paying jobs for our state, making health care and health insurance more affordable, lowering the cost of gas and groceries, helping parents secure a better future for their children.
That’s what I’ve been fighting for and I will continue to fight for as long as I’m in the Senate. I will work for you. You, you, you are my highest priority. Our state, our country, in office and out of office, facing the tough challenges we still have. That’s my pledge.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for the privilege in the great state of Louisiana.
A Fox News crew was fined $40 by automated traffic cameras in Beijing after their driver illegally parked for just two minutes.
CCTV captured the plate and sent the fine notification instantly to the driver’s phone.
Welcome to China’s surveillance state.
