@carlbramhall @HowardCCox @SadiqKhan I agree. I think we’re not far from electric being identical in practicality to ICE. Just need to deal with the cost. A comparable Tesla S is around double the lease on my E class which makes me wonder why.

I’ll be keeping my Triumph twin though just for the noise 😉

@carlbramhall @HowardCCox @SadiqKhan I work in international investment and I’m seeing major (and serious) money going into hydrogen and significant academic commitment. Not sure we’ll see it in the next 20 years but it’s coming. I may not be around to see it though

@carlbramhall @HowardCCox @SadiqKhan I live in a defacto 15 min area. It works. Between this and WFM I’ve reduced my mileage from 30k to 4k. But here’s the thing.

It been done without penalising motorists, or charging 12.50, or changing cars or any of the things that threaten drivers.

It’s just good facilities

Most people see getting rid of cars like trying to ban tea; it’s affront to their way of life and they’ll resist it exactly as we’ve seen.
