I couldn't figure out how to get the late 2023 game in my search, but from the start of 2024:
- Bulldogs' scoring rate (points per 100) from turnovers v Hawthorn: 18th in the league*
- Bulldogs' scoring rate from turnovers v non-Hawthorn teams: 1st in the league*
(*if maintained over the full time period, etc, etc)
For over six months each of the the last two years, I’ve been around the Nova Knicks nearly every day.
This is a story about brotherhood and winning ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals:

@rfcswallace If a key point of coaching is putting your players in the best possible position to succeed, lumping McKay forward is several words in the opposite direction I shouldn't say on a public site
Wild that at the very first centre bounce of the game Collingwood are disorganised enough to not have a sweeper defensive side of the most attacking Bulldog. Especially when that Bulldog is Bontempelli #AFLDogsPies
On second thought probably should have clipped the video of this to show all the pointing and last minute attempts to reshuffle and better illustrate the point, but we're here now
Who knows how long Carlton's current level lasts, but walking out of the G it's struck me that the simplest way to explain it is they're now just playing modern footy. All the little tweaks just circle back to that. In the space of three weeks.
I guess if Wemby still can't get in the paint as much, the whole 'just make nearly all the threes' adjustment can work for now. Don't know how sustainable it can be for four quarters though
Feels like a pre-season game the way Hawthorn are being allowed to flick it around and hit up leading lanes under minimal pressure, what is going on #AFLSaintsHawks
Would love to learn what conversations happened over the summer at Essendon that led to the defensive system we've seen this year. Who was involved and how it went down, because (imo) nearly everything on-field this year circles back to that system not being fit for purpose.
The hardest I've laughed at anything in forever, my sides hurt after watching these five minutes. "UNLESS MY HAND IS TOUCHING YOUR HAND AND WE'RE BOTH MOWING THE LAWN TOGETHER DADDY!"
Dan Soder & Will Sasso on Insight with @ChrisVanVliet and my cheeks are killing me.😆
The Mega Powers of wrestling impressions collided today and it’s pure gold. These two going back-and-forth with Dusty Rhodes trying to get off the phone with Ric Flair is comedy heaven.
Dusty“Well let me tell you something, Daddy. Rick is Rick, baby.”
“Yeah, he yelled at me about feather boas for half an hour, baby.”
“The American Dream might be the son of a plumber, but he the daddy of a boy that needs to go play catch. So I’m sorry, Rick.”
“THIS SUNDAY WHEN I CALL YOU BACK, DADDY, I’m gonna have all my chores done…”
“The Dream does it old school, Daddy!!”
If you like wrestling impressions these 2 are at the top of the list of the best.

Unlike last week, today's post is much more fun.
All about North Melbourne's comeback against Gold Coast, written in a slightly different style than normal.
