Goal in life: Be a swizzle stick that stirs people to do good things. On my tombstone I want written,He loved well and helped a lot of people feed the hungry.
@DougWahl1 Jesus was pointedly apolitical. He resisted attempts by others to make Him king and told Pilate, "My kingdom is not of this world." Those who insist Jesus would be a Republican or Democrat today are simply wrong.

When someone not in ag is asking questions that make you uncomfortable, the appropriate reaction isn't:
"If you don't like it, grow your own."

Food and agriculture contribute $8.6 TRILLION - with a T - to the US economy.
Maybe we shouldn't be creating increased challenges to producers and growers for such a valuable component of society and our economy.
@brandibuzzard@HoardsDairyman From where I sit as a consumer, we’re the subjects of a lot of fear-based marketing against ag and maybe it’s not so much to be thought of as catering to us, but calming our fears? We’ve been taught to fear our food and we are looking for reassurance more than justification.
We’re celebrating National Ag Day and the 2 percent of those who grow and raise our food by launching Shop Kansas Farms’ new website to help connect growers and consumers. Find it at https://t.co/lbebxzVp8W.

Being a woodworker, I rate hotels by comparing their bath towels to sandpaper grit. The lower the number, the rougher the grit. Finger nail files are usually around 1,000 grit.
This Comfort Inn in St. Charles, MO, is 120 grit.
