Speaking of the beach, I think I had originally pitched that they skinny dip in a pool and I’m so so glad Erica and Vinnie were all in on the beach. I was really worried it would get cut, or be too dark, or impractical to shoot but now I can’t imagine it any other way! 5/5
Well, as you know our cast is just incredible. They totally understood the assignment and added a lot of great ad-lib, like Maeve’s observation that it seems like they’ve given up, and Bronwyn/Addy's “Hi Nate” line, which is just such a fantastic cherry on top... 1/5
Erica thought it would be way more fun if the night played out organically and she was 100% right. But we did throw in our own little easter egg / nod to this at the beach when Addy forces Bronwyn to do karaoke because “murder club says." 4/5
Let it be know that the #wga proposed: "Regulate use of artificial intelligence on MBA- covered projects: AI can’t write or rewrite literary material; can’t be used as source material; and MBA-covered material can’t be used to train AI." and the studios rejected the proposal.
@nat3wyn @natewyncvg I think it’s fair to say we all wanted to do prom. In my ~personal fantasy~ it would have been partially shot at the Auckland aquarium (google it!) Imagine the lighting and the romance opportunities in that glass tunnel! Gifs for dayyyyyyz
@natewyncvg None of this is canon, or “what would have happened” in s3. These are just leftover things that had been rattling around in my head as ideas I never got to pitch for s3. Open questions. We all wanted a happy, bitter/sweet ending for murder club. They were gonna be ok 💛
@nat3wyn @starryhazehoran Imagine that as a flashback in s3, and editing a piece from that scene for a s3 trailer. Everyone would have been fooled into thinking it was the bloody aftermath of graduation day! diabolical 😈
@natewyncvg Nate is not use to the feeling of having something he’s terrified of losing and I think part of his journey would have been have to face that fear head on while the dread of graduation draws near... 3/3
@natewyncvg Also, Nate’s reaction (panic/fear) when she was taken away in an ambulance at the marina. I wonder what he might have said to her on the ride to the hospital while she was unconscious… Would have been fun to include that as an unexpected flashback in s3. 2/3
