"In loco parentis" means Ts act in Ps' absence. Doesn't extend to excusing Ss from class activities.
P's can't tell T's what or how to teach but they can pull their kids.
Struggling today to shift some student thinking from valuing a number to valuing the learning. We spend so long drilling into their heads that the goal is number. We do a huge disservice to them when we get them to association their self-worth with a number. #UNgrading
