Another possible outcome, if the government is subsidizing the housing, is that the renters set the rent to something well above regular rental price to have the money from the government that covers rent and repairs. So if the government is paying $3,000 a month for a 2000 apartment, that drives up rent across the board.

We've seen this with college tuitions and everything else that the government subsidizes. It creates an inflated price for everyone.

It is tragic but this is what happens when you allow a complete breakdown of reality, meritocracy, and truth because the perpetrator of the fraud was of a "marginalized class." It was precisely the token racism of the white progressives that allowed this to happen. The blame lies with them for creating the ecosystem that permitted for this debacle to take place.
