Turning down a "debate me" challenge isn't the own that people think. Having rhetorical skills in an adversarial format before a large audience is a nice but fairly niche skill that doesn't really correlate with underlying accuracy or really even courage of one's convictions.

A “superior intellect” should know that vaccines are among the greatest achievements of humankind.

Wealth/success can make an individual think their weird proclivities are part of what made them successful, so they over share their weird positions, in fact they think it’s their duty to share their strange opinions with the rabble.

@mattyglesias It seems to me that the concrete way Dems can demonstrate they are on the side of workers is to go ALL IN on pro-union/labor legislation: raise the minimum wage, improve family leave, claw back what SCOTUS has taken away, make it easier to organize new unions, expand Obamacare.
