@ProGolfCritic @LouStagner @PGATOUR It's as simple as they tried to compete against the TOUR and they lost. There are markets where they were successful but they were ones that rarely get pro golf. Team golf doesn't interest fans. Best opp is to go to markets w/o pro golf which eliminates US and a major media deal.

@ProGolfCritic @DFlutieBB @livgolf_league Most if not all PGA TOUR tournaments turn a profit of some kind with proceeds going to charity. That has become harder with the larger purses that have put pressure on profits and charitable giving but on the whole, the TOUR turns a profit. Can't say the same for LIV's model.

@WolfSprintSaint @JonnyRoot_ Right. Such a ridiculous comparison. There are over 40 tournaments to choose from. By the end of the season, Rory will pay in more tournaments than the LIV schedule.

Crazy upfront payments, way too high purses. And with that, virtually no ratings and a couple of successful events in places that have no pro golf.

@UsedGolfFacts @Thatll_Play @BenColeyGolf I think they all learned through LIV that it's not viable. The way LIV executed, with huge upfront payments and purses that were not justifiable, has probably scared serious investors away.

@peterjkostis There is no investor who will be willing to lose the millions or billions it takes to pay huge purses, crazy appearance contracts and an on-site buildout like the use now. If they continue, it will be a shell of what they are now. It's about math.
