@cpgrabow@AlfredCObregon Genuine question Colin bc I do appreciate your viewpoint on these topics, many of which are valid.
Can you specifically disclose any of the jones act impacted companies/foundations/corporations that donate to CATO and your research? Is that published anywhere?
@johnkonrad@SecWar don’t need South Korea for this. Need them for containerships and LNG ships. We can build this quickly and efficiently if we wanted.
@mercoglianos@johnkonrad@SecWar Edison Chouest Offshore can build one of these in 11 months.
It’s not a matter of not being able to do it. We just don’t want it bad enough.
@mercoglianos@MSCSealift Who will crew these vessels? Also…these tugs will be able to tow a tanker in ballast but any large loaded tanker they would have no chance of successfully towing.
@johnkonrad@CavasShips You’re a clown hating just to hate. Tell them good job and give them a minute to paint pierside. Paint barge at anchor offshore is a waste of money and more importantly time.
@StoolGreenie What are you doing there even blinking for a second instead of calling TO? There’s nothing good to happen throwing the ball anywhere on that spot!
@johnkonrad@Tommygun7777 JA operators will be flocking to China for nuclear refueling and servicing if we have any nuclear US built ships. Nobody wants that.
Just keep em on conventional fuel and build more let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
