Went from an utterly lost 20-year-old to an exceptionally good life β through rationality, philosophy, and self-education. Sharing what worked for me.
βYou should have children!β
βYou should travel the world!β
βYou should build a business!β
Ignore all that.
The only thing you should do is
consistently listen to your inner voice, understand your unique desires and match them with how the world works.
Most people hand their life plan over to their favorite influencer, their parents and to what the world is telling them to do, drifting aimlessly into a miserable, average life.
Plan your own life. Single player game.
@alexandreforget My friend, I think you misunderstood my message. I am a father, and love it. But my point is that these decisions should not come from a place of obedience to god, society or social media β but from listening to oneself.
Andrii captured my message well:

Nice one! And what you're saying doesn't mean that you shouldn't have children or travel the world or build a business, but rather that you should align yourself with your inner self.
Not listening to my inner self led me to a depression and OCD at some point. It took a while to even start to hear my inner voice and then understand what I want, like, am attracted to, etc. And 7 years later, I feel much much better.
@Zaytion_ Its less about listening to your "inner voice" and more about having a in-depth honest conversation with yourself β for long durations.
Long walks alone, sitting in silence, 10 sheets of paper. Undistracted.
Make that a habit, for a few months.
@devfaizanali Modern life is very good at keeping you distracted and busy enough to not figure such things out.
Good on you for figuring it out at all.
@Eduard_Seb I appreciate you, Eduard.
Especially with semi-viral tweets like this, I realize again and again, that I care much more for familiar faces of likeminded ones than for big numbers or dollars.
Hope you are doing well in life.
