I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
You need to watch this incredible video to understand just how tired China's neighbors are of its aggressive coercion.
In the middle of a talk at the Seoul Defense Dialogue, China drops a note scolding and attempting to intimidate the Filipino National Defense Secretary over the South China Sea issue.
Instead of acquiescing like Beijing wanted, the secretary read the note out loud, ridiculing and debunking it as he went before saying, "perhaps, basic decency and behavior is what China needs to do."
My summary doesn't do the clip justice — it's an absolute evisceration.
A PROUD MILITARY MAN FORCED BY ALLEGED STATE APATHY TO ATTEMPT SUICIDE.
How does a Republic that asks its soldiers to fight for the nation allow one of them to spend 24 years fighting for what he says is his rightful due?
This is the story of NK Shivananda Reddy, a medically discharged Army veteran who was injured during the Kargil era, allegedly attempted suicide on August 29 after years of pursuing land and other military entitlements in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur.
In 2022, Reddy had approached the Lokayukta over an alleged ₹10 lakh demand to process his land allotment. Three people, including two government employees, were arrested.
Years later, he alleges that officials showed him unsuitable land, ignored repeated representations and failed to resolve his entitlement.
Now he is in hospital after consuming poison.
On 15th July 2021, near his farmland outside Bengaluru, 5 armed men on motorcycles surrounded a man at half past 11 in the morning.
They cut off his right leg and his right hand, and almost severed his left hand.
He was still screaming when passers by reached him, which is the only reason he is alive.
His name is Venkatesh S.
He is from Tavarekere in Ramanagar district, just outside Bengaluru. He was in his 40s.
He had filed a large number of applications under the Right to Information Act, asking for the details of government projects in his area.
His complaints had worked. A police officer investigating the attack said that Venkatesh's applications had led to a number of government projects being scrapped.
Somebody lost money because of those projects being scrapped.
Passers by found him lying in a pool of blood and called an ambulance. Doctors operated on him and he survived.
Police registered a case of attempted murder and said it looked like a revenge attack.
On the same day, in Vijayanagara district, another man who used the same law was attacked with iron rods and bricks. He had been fighting illegal mining, encroachment of government land and unauthorised stone quarries.
2 men, 1 day, 1 state, 1 law.
The law they were using is a few pages long and costs 10 rupees to use. It gives any Indian the right to ask the government what it did with public money.
That is all he did.
27/07/2026 | Bommanahalli Police Station
Today, I visited @bomanahalli_ps at around 4:00 PM to respectfully submit a complaint to PI/SHO Smt. Parvathi. After I mentioned the name of the person complained against, I felt there was reluctance in receiving my complaint. I waited until 10:30 PM, but the name and address I had provided were allegedly omitted from the printed complaint.
I called the ACP, Mico Layout, but there was no response. I then called 112, who instructed the ASI to mention the correct name and details and provide me the printout. However, the matter remained pending.
I have full respect for the police department and its officers, but transparency and accountability are equally important.
Why is there no body camera recording during such interactions? And why does the station display “Mobile Phones Not Allowed”?

Sir, the parents of Aditya Prabhu, a Bengaluru student who died by suicide in 2023 after his own professors told him to kill himself, called your office EVERY SINGLE DAY for SIX MONTHS just to get an appointment to expose the college's misconduct.
You didn't give them those five minutes. Their cries went unheard. I have witnessed years of agony that they've lived through since then.
Because of your apathy, three more students died by suicide at the same "University" that year. The chargesheeted accused still show up to that campus every morning and teach. You did nothing. You are still doing nothing.
This rage was not built in a day. It was built by your silence while children were dying. This has nothing to do with any political party, so please don't make it about politics.
Do the right thing for once and pave the way for someone who is more competent and is actually interested in running the Education Ministry properly.
It's the only thing anyone wants from you anymore 🙏
Why is national media not covering this horrific incident which happened in Ganganagar, Rajasthan
A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL HAS BEEN GANGRAPED BY 30 MEN FOR FIVE DAYS
Hello @BhajanlalBjp ji If I were the Chief minister of Rajasthan I would have ordered my police to gather all these 30 bastards at Jawahar Circle in Jaipur and would have ordered police to first chop off their penises and then hang them upside down till they die so that nobody else can even dare to touch any girl
Set the norm now
It’s now or never
Kill all of them

🚨Gursahaiganj, a poor father struggles to activate his account while his child fights for life in hospital. He alleges bank manager Neetu Singh of the rural bank made him run around for 5-7 days.
First told KYC was incomplete, he submitted documents. Then asked to deposit ₹100, which he did. Yet the account remains inactive.
SP Office, @CP_Jodhpur
Is it necessary that Govt Officers can meet a citizen only inside their AC offices? Why can not the SP come down to meet this aged woman?
Police rupture the farmer's son's testicles after he complains about the bribe in India.

🚨Heartbreaking scene in Bihar: An elderly grandmother walked a long distance to collect her pension, only to find it wasn’t credited. Despite mobility issues, she made the trip for ration money.

Justice Denied Since 1988 - When will the system wake up? 😔
A heartbreaking video from Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, has left social media users emotional and angry. Mr. Tripathi, an elderly man, claims he has been fighting since 1988 against the alleged illegal encroachment of his land.
For nearly 38 years, he says he has been running from one government office to another, yet his case remains unresolved.
The incident has reignited concerns about corruption, bureaucratic delays, and the struggles faced by common citizens in India's justice system.
Car Allegedly Vandalized Over Parking Dispute in Bengaluru
A Bengaluru resident has alleged that their car was severely vandalized after being parked overnight in a residential area near BTM Layout. According to the post, the vehicle was scratched with sharp objects and the words "NO PARKING" were reportedly carved onto the bonnet.
The user claims there were no visible "No Parking" signs at the location and that several other vehicles were parked on the same street. A complaint has reportedly been filed at Madiwala Police Station.
A man rents out his car (worth nearly 9 Lakh Rupees) to another person. The other party takes the vehicle, eventually absconds with it, and cuts contact, effectively committing theft.
Why is it then that @sampigehallips refuses to file an FIR? Why protect these criminals? (1/3)
OP : On 9/06/2026, a brother and sister had gone to visit the Lathe Hanuman Temple outside Bandhava.
The sister told the police that they were going to meet Baba Ji. On this, the policeman said that she was his mistress. On going inside, a dispute arose over this matter.
What did the protectors of law do? They formed a mob and beat him to a pulp. You see how they are protecting the law by beating this man. All of them should be given Bharat Ratna.
