1/ "Boris did/not go to Perugia in Italy" - why does this matter? A thread.
Background first. On the 17th Sept, officials at Perugia airport said Johnson was there "in the last few days". Later they confirmed he "landed on the 11th at 2pm and left on the 14th at 7:45am".
1. #CPFC's owners didn't comply with ownership rules
2. They also admitted to not reading emails from UEFA
3. #NFFC asked for clarification on the situation
4. Palace named Forest in their appeal & Forest had to respond to that
5. Steve Parrish convinced fans to blame Forest
In the UK, you can now be jailed as a terrorist, despite not committing a terror offence, not being charged with a terror offence, and not being convicted of a terror offence. Even worse, the jury can't be told that you'll be sentenced as a terrorist for your non-terror offence.
@ForestAMOAOTP#nffc don't NEED to. However...
1. ยฃ65m profit is tempting.
2. Anderson will be England's star player this summer.
3. Man Utd/City play ECL next season.
4. Man Utd/City are more likely to win silverware.
5. Man Utd/City can pay ยฃ200k per week.
Instead of simply taxing wealth, re-nationalising water, ending support for genocide, and a tiny bit more wealth redistribution โ Keir Starmer has instead destroyed the Labour Party and ushered in fascism.
@Keir_Starmer I'm old enough to remember when the previous leader won 58 seats in local elections and the PLP, mainstream media, and even you & your goons demanded he step down.
@change4spurs 1st 2 paragraphs bang on. The rest is some Steve Parish fan fiction.
Forest had 14 EL games. It was great. Palace took part in a tinpot competition. They've also not won it yet.
Not sure what's ironic or karma about any of that
On this day 9 years ago, I attended a charity match at the City Ground. We had full access to the changing rooms, and I took this photo. Forest had just played Ipswich.
Tonight #nffc are playing in the Europa League semi-final.
Never forget how far we have come.
@WorsleyRed Forest go for it at Villa and then field reserves who lose 0-4 against Newcastle.
With 1 eye on the EL final, they also lose 4-0 to United.
With a EL hangover, Bournemouth beat us 0-3.
West Ham lose 0-1 to Arsenal, win 0-3 at Newcastle, and beat Leeds 4-0 on the last day.
#nffc relegation safety permutations
If Forest beat Newcastle AND West Ham fail to beat Arsenal OR Spurs fail to beat Leeds, then Forest are SAFE.
If Forest draw against Newcastle AND West Ham lose to Arsenal, then Forest are SAFE.
@WorsleyRed Not true. If we lose and West Ham lose, they are still 6pts behind with 2 games to go.
Sure, there is a huge +17 goal swing in those last 3 games, but MATHEMATICALLY still possible.
@WorsleyRed Practically, we are safe now.
Mathematically, we aren't safe until no one can catch us.
