@habs1973@PuckDontLie Caufield had an amazing year and you’re right on his clutch goals. I worded it poorly to not give caufield his deserved credit.
But the award is most valuable player to their team. Picture the team without caufield and picture the team without Suzuki. No Suzuki would be bad
@snapshot5065@PuckDontLie But Suzuki is who pulls it all together. He literally dragged them to the playoffs after the trade deadline last year. You would go from a Selke 100pt 1C to Jake Evans who would be playing 1C without Suzuki. They would not be a good team.
@worldhockeyrpt It’s mvp to their team. Suzuki is near the top. 100pt selke winner. Imagine them without Suzuki? A lottery team with Jake Evans playing first line centre.
@fnveenie He’s going to be 30, sucks 5 on 5, disappears before the playoffs every year. Plus he was taking selfies with Kash Patel. He wouldn’t be top of my list
@JordanHiser@ivandemigoal He’s literally one of their best pk guys if you watched the Habs. But you can’t play him 30 mins a game. Also some of his pk mins are most important ones, like being the fwd out on a 5 on 3 at the end of the game
@brenmidov I love gally and it’s real sad to see him go but HFTV is delusional. He was in the lineup at the deadline and playing power play. Don’t think he wanted out at that time and he has no movement clause so literally can’t be traded unless he wants to be traded.
@MitchyGallo It’s stupid. A team can’t unwind, have a few beers and do some team bonding after a long season of over a 100 games before many leave town for the summer? Not to mention a few guys won’t be back next year and it’s their last chance to have fun together. Shows it a close group
