@SHoddeMiller I pray healing for you this weekend. I am a Pastor in Savannah that ran across you and your husband online. May God give you grace . https://t.co/m7FWc5X2dV
Happy Thanksgiving...this weekend would you join me in considering the GOOD things God has done for & in you during 2020? If we focus on what God has built instead of what the enemyโs tried to destroy, we can exit the year with gratitude, generosity & hope, and be ready for 2021!
If the church will lean into faith, hope and love right now, I believe we can serve in the healing and unifying our country, that I pray opens the door for harvest and revival! โBe joyful in hope...โ Romans 12:12
We have burned down our evangelical witness. Burned it to the ground. But here is what I know. I know God can bring beauty from ashes. I believe He will raise up a people purified by the very fires we set. A people defined by Jesus Himself, not denomination nor political party.
I saw this couple yesterday and noticed how many people looked their way and smiled. Real love still works โin sickness or in health.โ Love flows out of a deep commitment, not out of obligation.
To my black friends & familyโI mourn with you in this season. Youโve had to endure too much against you far too long: Too much hate. Too much prejudice. Too much ignorance. Too much violence. Too much doubt. I contend with you for justice & Iโm hopeful that real change is coming!
I promise, our plans to improve our digital outreach with creative options for the thousands who watch us on streaming will speed up. This Coronavirus has truly made those plans more of a priority than ever. The key is not to invite Fear-virus in.
