I saw that today, when I stopped in at the @LionsClubs and @SalvationArmy centres that have opened up to affected residents. Neighbours are helping neighbours – donating pet food, baby food, clothes, and other essential items. To everyone stepping up so graciously: Thank you.
This morning was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new $1.3 million expansion to the Halton Lighthouse Shelter. The additional space can be used both as an emergency shelter and transitional housing as the need arises.
