@TheSpec Property values are more important to most people than housing people who discard dirty needles in public parks that they used to take their children. Of course they can’t now out of fear of stepping on said dirty needles or just being murdered… have a referendum.

@TheSpec @Mattatthespec Oh haven’t you heard people that live in flamborough that work in dofasco are going to Uber to the nearest bus stop and take a 50 minute bus ride with multiple changes to get to their dofasco job that used to take them 20 minutes in a vehicle. Hamilton is a car town.. stupidity

Most people don’t want to wake up an hour earlier to get a bus to dofasco. bike people are selfish. Majority rules

@TheSpec Can we go back to the original plan once we figure out how horrible an idea this is? Traffic and pollution. Add in homeless encampments on every corner this city is becoming worse than Toronto. Should be a referendum regarding a decision that will affect traffic this much.

@sartorson @CBCHamilton @CameronKroetsch So glad I’m out of that neighborhood now. Real easy to champion for the homeless when they’re not in your backyard in Durand… king William st was an absolute nightmare to live on during covid and post covid. No one should have to dodge needles walking dogs.

I understand you have long term ideas to fix this issue but are we going to allow all of this in the short term? Bad look for city

Yes rain that lands in a drainage ditch will not end up in the dry well but roof water does… depending on how well the soil drains the dry well size is calculated

Relatively high density as well. So I don’t get what you’re arguing. I don’t live in Ancaster but I guarantee his constituents don’t want low income housing and 4 plex all over
