Your claim the election was swayed by older voters has no basis in fact: Secret ballot. Most polls had the race near even, you lost in double digits. It is just as easy to say you don't inspire anyone under 60 to vote for you. Offending the people most likely to vote is an extremely poor choice. Do an exit poll or something to find that extra 10% you lost by.

Just do the math. USAID was spending ~$43 billion per year. Their own favorite study claims they prevented ~91.8 million deaths over 21 years (or 30.4 million under-5 child deaths). That averages out to roughly $9,840 per death prevented when you divide the annual budget by the annual modeled impact.Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah — the $640 toilet seat and $900 hammer. Same logic: massive bureaucracy, overhead, ideological side projects, and waste, all hidden behind a big emotional 'lives saved' number. When $20 million goes to an Iraqi Sesame Street and millions more to DEI musicals and transgender comics, the guilt-trip math stops working.
