@TheMafiaPoint Point of order, Al Neri was ex cop. You'd have to read the book. Lost his job after beating a pimp/pusher to death with a flashlight IIRC. Neri didn't have a lot to say but he did get a lot of camera time.
Your claim the election was swayed by older voters has no basis in fact: Secret ballot. Most polls had the race near even, you lost in double digits. It is just as easy to say you don't inspire anyone under 60 to vote for you. Offending the people most likely to vote is an extremely poor choice. Do an exit poll or something to find that extra 10% you lost by.
Batter is a punk. He is still in the box as the pitcher is in wind up. This is a deliberate move to upset the rhythm of the pitcher or cause a balk. Use your head people. That guy you see in the background w/o a mit is a baserunner. Balk would advance him to third. Not the way I would have handled it. I would have thrown a strike since play hadn't stopped. If the ump screwed up the call, set it up with the catcher that the ump gets hit with a passed ball when the bases are empty.
Just do the math. USAID was spending ~$43 billion per year. Their own favorite study claims they prevented ~91.8 million deaths over 21 years (or 30.4 million under-5 child deaths). That averages out to roughly $9,840 per death prevented when you divide the annual budget by the annual modeled impact.Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah — the $640 toilet seat and $900 hammer. Same logic: massive bureaucracy, overhead, ideological side projects, and waste, all hidden behind a big emotional 'lives saved' number. When $20 million goes to an Iraqi Sesame Street and millions more to DEI musicals and transgender comics, the guilt-trip math stops working.
@joekent16jan19 Only tangential. Do you know if this is an actual photo of Crooks? Rumored to be a fake, but the guy who claims it is him looks nothing like the one in the photo.
@iluminatibot "Does Israel have a right to exist?" is a trope. Carlson did not fall for it. Like a car salesman "Do you love your family?" Then follows with "Then you must buy this car!" Israel does it to sucker people into defended them in perpetuity. non sequitur, argumentum ad passiones
@AmericanALCHMY Maybe in a non-life form. Life goes the other way. Maximizes efficiency and gets rid of stuff that is superfluous. How many people do you need to invent an elevator compared to how many can push a button? Self regulating when they breed.
Once again, insults vs facts. Great way to show you don't have a sane argument. Mail in reflected the same loss level as the in person voting. No ballot harvesting indicated. Just sore losers making stuff up and doing a bad job of it. The lazy unmotivated blaming Boomers for not voting. Quit virtue signalling on X as it does nothing and vote.
You seem to have a reading comprehension problem. Factually ignorant and vulgar. I can't believe people are this stupid, but there you are. Mail in voting, which is typically labeled mostly Boomers was actually closer to the general. For the KY-4 Republican primary (U.S. House):Ed Gallrein: 10,854 absentee/mail-in votes
Thomas Massie: 8,421 absentee/mail-in votes
Tremendous self own dude. Hang your head in shame.
@River_Washed@calvinfroedge Are you a bot? There seems to be a huge effort to blame the loss on Boomers. This is the official demographics for District 4. Less the 15% of the population are Boomers. Even if you factor out kids under the age of 20, they only represent ~18% of the vote.
@Sofia3813824925@OwenShroyer1776 So, you think the 18% of boomers swayed the election so much they overwhelmed the other 60% of the vote? hahaha! Yeah right. So much for an IT degree. LOL
@Sofia3813824925@OwenShroyer1776 Typical. The percent boomers in Ky is ~18%. The 18-64 age group is 60% of the population. Let me guess, you weren't good in math. "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves"
@Sofia3813824925@OwenShroyer1776 Yeah, the boomers cheated. They voted! Hey, it’s FREE! In the most expensive House primary in history the big wallets flew open… and still lost to the old folks who just showed up. Turns out showing up beats crying on X and blaming everyone else. Sheesh.
@DonnieDetroit19@goddek@StephenM@grok It is a fault of our system that bills are combined to screw us over. Massie voted against the bill because it increased the debt ceiling by $4 trillion and continued the trend of spying on Americans. Just a system thing.
@joeroganhq From a fossil record it is true but for what exists now, it is not. You see symbiotic relationships between corals, sponges and bacteria. Viruses work by slipping a bit of their DNA into an organism. No reason to believe this was not always the case.
Kalshi lets you trade contracts like stocks: Buy Yes at 50¢. If it rises to 80¢ on news, sell early for +30¢ profit per contract — no need to wait for the event.
You can also cash in twice which is probably what happened here. You cash in to get your profit, use that cash to buy the same position if odds falls below your expectation.
@AndrewFournet@im_Blessed6063@akafaceUS What I am referring would probably be better described as protruding more. You can actually change it with a small amount of flexing/stretching.
