Did you know you can help save a life? I am writing for (my dad) Miguel Sanchez, he has been on the national liver waitlist for 6 months. There are over 11,000 people currently waiting to receive a liver from a deceased donor there are simply not enough deceased donors livers. Did you know that a person can live a healthy and complete life after donating a portion of their liver?

Miguel Sanchez has end stage liver disease and has been approved by the UT Southwestern Liver Transplant team the option to receive a living donor transplant. The ability to be transplanted before becoming too ill will greatly increase his post-transplant outcomes. If you are a healthy and above the age of 18 and are willing to donate a portion of your liver, you may be able to save Miguel Sanchez life.
