I’ve been to Congo several times and every time I get to Kinshasa, it dawns on me that Nigeria is moving closer to Congo than to Kenya or Ghana when it comes to standard of living, security, chaos and basic sanitation. I hope the trend doesn’t continue.
The problem with Nigerians is you all actually think you have the same problem as Ghana , South Africa and co
We’re literally on the same level as Congo , South Sudan if not worse .
If you are wondering why no South African home and Abroad should be helped or shown compassion! This is the reason !
They are wicked people both Home and Abroad !

You shut out kids from hospitals, kill people on the street and taxis while the government looked away, yet, you expect our support. Madam, reflect on your actions first. # Xenophobia
In 1976, Nigeria pulled out of the Olympics in Canada in protest against New Zealand, whose rugby team had toured apartheid South Africa despite an international sporting boycott of the racist regime.
When the IOC refused African demands to ban New Zealand from the Games, Nigeria joined 28 other African nations in walking away, even though many of their athletes had already arrived in Canada.

A Nigerian court has convicted 11 Indian sailors and their vessel over the trafficking of cocaine into the country, imposing fines totaling $6 million, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said on Thursday. https://t.co/xLEX8U4adq
Nigeria’s parliament passed a constitutional bill on Thursday paving the way for each of its 36 states to establish and run its own police force alongside the federal Nigeria Police Force, a long-debated reform aimed at tackling worsening insecurity. https://t.co/S74KapGNOG
Very weak response and awful for a diplomat of the country. You’ve got to defend the country and take a strong position. Not sure these guys are media trained at all.
Some of these issues are cultural and not Religious. This leaving mosque after prayer & going to murder people only happens in the North🇳🇬.
Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 78% Muslim, all its leaders ever including its dictators but 1 have been Christians. No history of religious violence.
Grim mood around Ogbomoso with points of caution everywhere. The first 24 hours in such situation is so important to at least put helicopters around the perimeter and then try a swarm of low-noise thermal drones at the first night which can detect human movement at night. A very local police station in the US has this basic tool to scan forested areas. I have seen it in action.
There's just mediocrity that permeates government; the kind of mediocrity that doesn't have foresight. A few months ago, some park rangers were attacked and there's a clear modus operandi of terrorists using vast forest area as cover.
So why can't we have a thinking government to understand that the Old Oyo National Park periphery needs extra attention? It's just unfortunate that poor souls will suffer the consequences of poor governance. The South West has now been infiltrated with evil people, with path dependency theories, it would take a lot of deliberate leadership to stem terrorism. Look at how many years, yet Borno has not found relief. This requires emergency measures. This is too sad and unfortunate.

Respect, #Pep. You evolved English football and showed what was possible. Admiration and respect from an #Arsenal fan.
Now, Mikel will take it from here. Thank you.
The Nigerians have been instrumental throughout the last several months developing the target, helping with the intelligence, and providing support. So it could not have been done by our own forces, we needed to do that in conjunction with them.
