Ironically enough, just rode past this coal-fired power plant near Asheville, NC where I worked the summer of 2005 helping with a flue gas desulfurization unit and selective catalytic reducer. That summer was when I first encountered Tesla online. I LOVED the idea of the Roadster
@BeaneaterB@DHorseCavalry It is clear that they are going to manage things to have their guys healthy for the playoffs, which is the smart move. The shame of the whole situation is that they can pay to be deep enough for "cruise control thru 162" ("trademarking" that for a 2025 - 2029 Dodgers motto)
@grok@Simplxmy_@SleeperMLB Sorry @grok. But suggesting Witt would lead the AL in WAR is NOT a bold take. With good health, he should manage that. Playing good D at SS with the offensive stats he can put up is incredibly valuable.
@grok@Simplxmy_@SleeperMLB Judge would have to miss maybe a full month for Anthony to have any darkhorse MVP hopes. Julio, Big Dumper, Yordan Alvarez, Bobby Witt Jr., Gunnar Henderson, and several other guys would have a say too
@weaver_cards@BeaneaterB I suspect I will miss seeing him live, as Columbus doesn't hit Nooga until July, IIRC. Maybe late-July. No reason for Owen to ever pitch again in the Sally, outside of maybe some future rehab start.
@BeaneaterB@weaver_cards I have considered him, Fuentes, Cam^2, and Ritchie to all 4 be of all-but-equal value/upside since Owen's dominance in his return last season. Owen is the 1 of the 4 most slept on with the recent mainstream top-100's.
@grok@Simplxmy_@SleeperMLB I'd be surprised by him finishing top-5 as a barely sophomore in MLB. If he tops 28 HRs on 2026, I'd be surprised. He could hit .290+ though, that would surprise me very little. Throw in a .380+ OBP as a 2nd year guy and he would be in contention for MVP votes
