OOLO also has multiple difficulty settings, and all of them provide the full game experience!

There's the Casual difficulty setting for those who just want to explore at their own pace. Infinite lives, infinite uninterrupted exploration, taking things at your own pace.

Then there's the Classic setting. This one is lives-based. You can refill your lives at every save point, and if you run out of lives it's game over--time to reload.

And finally there's the Retro setting. If you want to experience that true 1990s difficulty spike this one is for you. Save points are replaced by extra lives, and when you hit the end that's it--no saving allowed.

Aside from bragging rights, the rewards for beating these two modes are extra trophies/achievements as evidence of overcoming such an epic trial!

For those who didn't know, OOLO's got a secret ending!

The normal ending can take around 4-5 hours on a blind playthrough, and you can ignore everything involving the secret ending if you want and just enjoy exploring the iso-metroidvania landscape!

But you may have noticed upon completing the game you were missing some things. Like that blank slot in your artifacts list for example.

There are chains of secrets leading to secrets that ultimately can lead you to entirely new regions of the game that are quite sizeable and filled with uniquely new puzzle types and environments.

One of them is possible to stumble into accidentally, but one of them will require paying attention to details that seem enigmatic--or potentially even irrelevant--at first.
