Just finished "FIVE STAR RIDES" by @natelivesay chronicling the plight of the rideshare driver. Cant tell you how many times I laughed out loud! Incredible stories. Less then 200 pages but could've been 400. Highly recommend

@FRMillionaires Irrelevant? I don’t think I agree at all that it’s irrelevant. At some point your total earnings have to be at least a little relevant…
Uber CEO acknowledges the fundamental life truth: Time is “your most valuable asset.”
Finally! So, can we please reverse the diabolical 40% increase in wait time from five to SEVEN MINUTES that disrespects driver’s time and infringes on our rights as independent contractors? (It hurts Uber, too btw — reducing driver supply by tying us up waiting instead of picking up riders!)
THANK YOU for your attention to this matter.

@FRMillionaires@MinivanManTodd@sergioaved@TheRideshareGuy But on the other hand, if I’m correct, not testing your theory actually saves me from taking $12 an hour trips on Uber when I could be taking actually profitable trip requests from Lyft who isn’t playing games with their trip requests -uh, I mean doesn’t have a “bug” or “glitch”
@FRMillionaires@MinivanManTodd@sergioaved@TheRideshareGuy What am I guessing about? Have you done a fare review lately when a trip offer and a ride didn’t match up? What does uber support tell you every time? Your fare is consistent with the upfront offer. The end. But you think this time they would change it for me?
@MinivanManTodd@FRMillionaires@sergioaved@TheRideshareGuy True, and each rider could have tipped me $20 cash on top of it too which would have boosted my earning sto $106 in that two hours - but my experience says that’s not what would have happened.
@FRMillionaires@MinivanManTodd@sergioaved@TheRideshareGuy That’s because uber & Lyft consistently try to exploit both drivers and passengers. Now I’m supposed to take a $7 ride that should be $18 and just hope they do the right thing and pay me at the end???
@LeviSpires@boston_drives uber support & other oxymorons - I’m here to help you and I’ll tip you in the app have to be the two biggest lies in Uber history.
@LeviSpires@boston_drives Uber Support was very helpful. They explained how surge worked and that if I wasn’t getting it, it didn’t exist in my area. I asked them to look at the screenshots and they ended the conversation.
