The man who used to run Trump's public lands agency is now suing to erase 740,000 acres of protected desert.

On paper, it's just a Michigan miner and a small off-road group from Idaho. But dig one layer deeper, and this "grassroots" lawsuit leads straight back to the same men who ran Trump's Interior Department — and the same oil money that's funded them for decades.

They're suing to erase Chuckwalla National Monument in Southern California — 740,000 acres sacred to 13 Tribal Nations, home to centuries-old petroglyphs and one of the last strongholds for the desert tortoise.

The lawyers representing them: Mountain States Legal Foundation and the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Neither firm charges these plaintiffs a dime. Both are "public interest" law firms with a long track record of challenging federal land and environmental regulations - and this case gives them a chance to go after something bigger than one mining claim: the Antiquities Act itself, the 120-year-old law every president has used to protect places like Bears Ears and Joshua Tree. Torongo's mining claim became one of the doors they walked through to get at it.

Here's the part that should stop you cold. Mountain States Legal Foundation was led for nearly 30 years by William Perry Pendley - the same man who became acting head of the Bureau of Land Management under Trump in 2019, and who personally authored Project 2025's Chapter 16, titled "Department of the Interior" — calling for exactly this kind of rollback.

The other law firm, Texas Public Policy Foundation, has sent at least 8 of its own senior staff straight into Trump administration jobs. It's also taken money directly from American First Legal Foundation - a group founded by and aligned with Trump himself.

Both law firms are funded by the same donors: Koch family foundations, ExxonMobil, the oil and gas lobby - the same interests standing to profit if this monument's protections disappear.

If this lawsuit wins, it doesn't just threaten one desert. Legal experts warn it could gut the president's power to protect any large landscape ever again — Bears Ears, Grand Staircase, all of it.

He used to run the BLM. Now he's suing to erase a monument it protects. What does that tell you?

The judge is now admitting footage of Tyler Robinson on UVU campus on 9/10 and 9/11 that was once not going to be admitted.
My money is on altered footage thanks to Toka. If you are not familiar with Toka, it was developed by Ehud Barak and can alter camera footage, delete it etc without a forensic trace.
If you want to know more about it, I pinned a post I did in April on it.
Another fun fact on Toka, Ehud used Epstein to sell it to our Intel agencies and Gov in 2018.

She then asks Agent David Hull if anyone on Campus Drive (the route taken by the individual fleeing the Losee Building) reported to authorities seeing an individual with a firearm jump off the Losee Center building or see an individual with a firearm crossing the road.

Agent David Hull answers "no."

The State then says the alleged "shooter" had about 15-30 seconds to position himself and take an alleged shot.
