Conch Season Reopened Yesterday October 1st, 2018 for Belize.
SEA would like to remind fishers that the Fisheries Regulations for conch states:
Shell length should exceed seven 7 inches
Market-clean weight should exceed three 3 ounces
Fillet weight should exceed 2.75 ounces
We need to convey a sense of urgency because the world is changing. The next ten years is likely to be the most important time in the next 10,000 years. We have options that we are going to lose within ten years unless we take action now.
