My father called me last week and said he needed 500,000 naira urgently. He promised to pay back. My father is a man of his word, so I disturbed my emergency funds and sent it.

Just yesterday, he called me to come to the house immediately. I grumbled because I was far away, but I rushed down.

He presented land documents to me.

He had bought my first land for 2.4 million naira, in my name. He just needed me to come and append my signature.

He said he never wanted that land to pass me by, so he used what he had and got the 500,000 naira balance from me without telling me why.

Then he said something that broke me:

"Since after your secondary education, I have never really had the privilege to gift you anything. You even sponsored yourself through school because I was incapable. This is my little gift to you."

I am finally a land owner. Courtesy of my loving Dad. ❤️

I have approached people one on one.

I have trekked and trekked to speak to different businesses about what I do and how it can be of benefit to them.

Getting gigs online is hard, offline sef is by God's grace.

I am in my mid 30s, planned to get married next year but as it is; I can barely feed myself.

I built an app called 'Handy Ota', an app that connects Service providers and customers together.

I have been looking for 90k to upload it on play store and get branding items so we can launch and begin onboarding businesses but I haven't gotten since two weeks now.

I am sorry if my ranting this morning annoys you but it's my reality and I needed to say it before depression takes me away.

I will be voting Peter Obi next year and I hope and pray it gets better for me before then.
